You can customize the way SurfShop™ handles the “buy sequence” during checkout, as well as fine-tune the various methods of payment using the Check Out Admin.
Allow payment by Mail
If you do not plan to use any real-time payment options, you can always use snail-mail
Use Credit Card Form
Includes a standard credit card form. Note: you may wish to include the card info capture using the “Payment Form HTML” option instead of this form. See your Payment Processor Documentation.
Use e-Check Form
Includes a form for entering check information. Many banks will honor facsimile checks just as well as original checks, provided you have all of the information included in this form. If you do not plan to honor checks, do not use this system.
Surf Shop is designed to use PayPal out of the box. If you want to use PayPal, check this box and follow the instructions for Using PayPal.
Allow Other Form Of Payment
Gives option to include an unlisted payment type, such as Direct Deposit (Austrailia) or Cash (if you have a real store front).
Select the countries you wish to include as options for check-out.
The country you select here will be chosen by default in the various forms
Include Credit Cards
SurfShop™ supports the following card types. You can add or remove them at any time: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Switch, Solo
confirm.htm Payment Forms 1 and 2
This is where you insert the HTML code that will allow SurfShop™ to communicate with your credit card processing gateway. See “Setting up Payment Processing.” You can include two payment forms. If no card processor is being used, you can leave the default form which simply completes the order in SurfShop™.
NOTE: If using PayPal, AuthorizeNet or LinkPoint API, little or no customization to this section is necessary. Please see Setting Up Payment Processing for more information
