Surfshop lite

Post by berrico » Mar 24, 2009 12:58 pm

i bought the lite years and years ago. it worked fine but i just recently had to update my ssl. and the host gave me a crazy address to the ssl. the cart is ok w/ the address, but the admin, is not

when i go to autoconfig, and click i agree on the screen for the terms, it goes to: https://ssl.myhostcenter.com/cgi-bin/su ... r=+I+Agree+

the script is supposed to read:
https://ssl.myhostcenter.com/goldshorse ... r=+I+Agree+

how can i fix that?

its leaving out the goldshorseradish.com part of the url. (in reality it's reading cgi-bin/surfshop/autoconfig.cgi.
how can i have it read the goldshorseradish.com in there? it tells me Invalid Domain

Yeah, I see that. It appears that SSLite doesn't like two .com's in the URL.

I just thought about this some more and realized that goldshorseradish.com is the name of your public_html directory. Your ISP should allow you to change this to just goldshorseradish (or any other name you choose without the .com) and that should clear up your problem.

You're welcome. I just noticed that this thread was posted under the wrong category. Please post future questions like these about SSLite to the General SurfShopLITE™ Troubleshooting section.

Thanks,
Frank
